Direct Support Professional

Partner opening. This role is with a licensed care partner — not Beneficial Property Management. We post the pathway. Partners hire and deliver care. Beneficial is housing only and is not a licensed care facility.
Role
Provide hands-on support in group homes, assisted living, and community programs—helping with daily living, health, meals, outings, and social connection. You will be employed or engaged under the hiring partner’s care program standards.
What you’ll do
- Help with ADLs: hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, and safe transfers (including Hoyer lifts)
- Take vital signs, watch for changes, and report them promptly
- Support medication administration per care plans and HIPAA
- Prepare meals and support dietary needs
- Keep living spaces clean and safe
- Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
- Offer companionship, activities, and clear communication
What you need
- Experience with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, nursing homes, hospice, home health, or senior care (preferred)
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
- Strong communication with residents, families, and care teams
- First aid and CPR (required)
- HIPAA awareness
- Hoyer lift or medication-administration training (plus)
