Fair Housing

Equal Housing Opportunity

We rent without regard to the classes federal Fair Housing and California FEHA protect. Source of income includes Housing Choice Vouchers. Disability may be a preference where the law allows it. A specific diagnosis is not how we market a house.

Who is protected

Beneficial Property Management LLC does not discriminate in the rental of housing. Protected classes include race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship or immigration status as protected by California law, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, disability (mental and physical), medical condition, genetic information, source of income (including Housing Choice Vouchers), and veteran or military status.

Vouchers and source of income

We accept lawful rental subsidies. A subsidy is not required to inquire. We cannot issue a voucher.

Disability and marketing

We do not market units by a specific diagnosis. Under HUD 24 CFR 5.655, an owner may prefer households that include a person with a disability. An owner may not prefer a specific diagnosis unless a funding document requires it.

Reasonable accommodation

Request a reasonable accommodation or reasonable modification at info@beneficialhouses.com. We may request only the information needed to evaluate the request. We do not provide medical, mental health, or personal-care services. We are not a licensed care facility.
